Cleaning Gemstones: 

General Cleaning: 

●Use warm water, mild washing-up liquid, and a soft brush for most 
gemstones. 
●Avoid harsh brushes and aggressive cleaning for treated gemstones. 
●Clean pearls and porous stones with a small makeup brush dipped in 
shampoo and water. 


Preventing Damage: 

●Keep pearls separate from hard gemstones. 
●Avoid exposing gemstones to excessive light. 
●Do not immerse gemstone jewellery in water.












Specific Gemstones: 

●Use cool water for cleaning malachite. 
●Avoid steam, boiling, and ultrasonic cleaning for gemstones and pearls.
